Volunteers

We need adult leaders and volunteers to help us keep delivering adventures and changing lives for the better in our community.

Volunteering at the 1st Morden Scout Group is not just about changing young peoples lives It is about doing something that’s #goodforyou too. Good for your health and happiness, good for developing skills, and good for making friends. come and join in the fun with us.

Scouting is open to everyone: people of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and experiences are welcome. You do not have to have a faith or belief as we welcome everyone, for many adult roles there is a DBS check required and most roles have relevant training provided, free of charge to you as a volunteer.

You will also find that some elements of volunteering may be used for evidence and assessment for youth work related NVQ’s.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
