About Us

At the 1st Morden Scout Group, we prepare young people with skills for life.

You can learn survival skills, first aid, cooking and even expedition skills that can lead on to Duke of Edinburgh Awards. It is a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world. There is something for every young person, whatever their physical ability.

We believe in bringing people together. We celebrate diversity and stand against intolerance, always. We are part of a worldwide movement, creating stronger communities and inspiring positive futures.

We can be found at our headquarters at 240 Central Road, Morden, SM4 5PP. We share an entrance with the Baitul Futuh Mosque and have our own ground next to Abbotsbury primary school.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
